Ivan Burnell, author, consultant, speaker and founder of International Personal Development (IPD), a human resource development company, inspires people to achieve more then they ever thought possible.

He did it! After his (very) near fatal "accident," a heart attack, and homelessness, Ivan worked his way back up to become a successful family and business man. He knows it can be done.

Ivan's first "real" job was in a unionized manufacturing business where he developed a management style different from the traditional approach to working with people. The result of his unusual way of dealing with day-to-day situations, conflicts and difficult personalities had surprisingly (it surprised the traditional managers) great results. Production increased, tardiness and absenteeism decreased, and morale jumped to new highs, all without changing personnel or having any union grievances.

Ivan has applied this technique throughout his career. Now he applies it in his programs helping people become more successful, with the same surprisingly great results.
